Some of the most breathtaking architecture produced during
the mid 20th century was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, we are huge
fans of his work. Together with his long time collaborator, the landscape
architect Roberto Burle Marx he managed to create some of
the most graceful and sculptural buildings of the Modern period.
He harnessed the beauty of concrete where many other
architects have failed and produced buildings which harmonised
with the landscape in an almost spiritual way. Many thanks to Flickr
member Weyerdk for allowing us to use his beautiful images.
